This July, as a second-year DPT student, I embarked on a challenge to complete 20 free continuing education courses through the APTA Learning Center in 20 days.

Why? My interest in pursuing life-long learning guided me in seeking out these opportunities. As a student, I aimed to stay updated on the latest research, explore new areas of practice, and build my knowledge.

My APTA membership is the gateway to growth and professional development opportunities. Access to free CEU courses at the APTA Learning Center let me explore high-quality courses and new practice areas - all in one place.

This challenge was intense but rewarding. I approached this similar to studying for a final exam, dedicating 30 uninterrupted minutes each morning and another session at night after clinical. Splitting the work in half allowed me to stay focused without feeling burnt out.

Finishing the last course brought an immense sense of accomplishment. This experience broadened my perspective on physical therapy beyond the classroom and in turn, was the best investment in foundational knowledge as a DPT student.
