APTA Offers Insights on the Strategic Implementation of AI in Health Care to HHS

In February, APTA submitted comments to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in response to their Request for Information: Accelerating the Adoption and Use of Artificial Intelligence as Part of Clinical Care. In its comments, APTA acknowledged the growing and transformative role AI can play within the health care system. APTA highlighted how AI has the potential to augment physical therapist practice by expanding access, enhancing care delivery models, promoting safety in the home, reducing administrative burden, and improving outcomes.
