As it did for 2021, The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services once again has proposed severe cuts to multiple health professions’ payment in the 2022 Medicare physician fee schedule — including an estimated 3.5% cut to physical therapy. This APTA regulatory review briefly explains the proposal. We've made it easy for members and nonmembers to take action to oppose these cuts by contacting Congress and CMS in just a few clicks.
