Health care workers have always had rigorous and stressful work lives. Physical therapists and physical therapist assistants are no exception to this rule.

Now add to the everyday stressors a global pandemic that not only shut down most of the world but also resulted in fear and trauma as researchers tried to figure out what it was, how it spread, and vaccinations that could help. For health care providers, especially, this spelled disaster, exhaustion, and burnout.
