Opening Ceremony Attendees Urged to Facilitate Delivery of High-Quality Services

American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) opening ceremony speaker Donald D. Straube, PT, PhD, NCS, declared, "As a certified clinical specialist, you have a critical role to play in the facilitation of high-quality physical therapy services in the context of a dynamic health care environment." Straube is immediate past chair of ABPTS.

These and other laws and regulations are rapidly introducing the concept of value into the health care equation, he noted.
