Putting things in perspective.

How's your day been?

I have a single word (or should I say a single sound?) for mine so far: Ugh!

First, I wake up late. I cut myself shaving. There's no conditioner in the shower. Nothing readily is available for breakfast except a couple of overpriced nut bars and an equally expensive drink that I consume in the hotel on the run.

When I get to the conference, the person checking me in says I've been booked into the "giant" ballroom. "I hope you're ready for a huge crowd!" she says. I am! I'm feeling a bit sluggish, and looking forward to feeding off that energy, while supplying some of my own. But it turns out that the giant room has been split into quarters. Not only that, but staff are running behind preparing the room in which I'm to speak. About 30% of the people kept waiting outside defect to sessions that have started on time.
