APTA and its members have a history of making a positive local impact at national conferences, but last year the association made it official: After a statement by the Board of Directors related to national site selection and action by the APTA House of Delegates, APTA committed to identifying and promoting opportunities for members and attendees to make a positive impact on the needs of vulnerable health populations.”
