With the morning news in the background, I scroll through my inbox, flooded with messages.

One message is from a student who I’ve never met. She wants to connect with African American colleagues in physical therapy "since there is not a big representation" where she lives.

Another is from a colleague appalled by a Twitter exchange wherein one person gaslights another for asking colleagues to help identify a Black provider to whom they can refer a patient.
