APTA: Physical Therapist Management of Total Knee Arthroplasty (CPG+)
Overview
An update to this CPG is currently in progress.
This guideline is intended to be used by physical therapists for the management of patients who will undergo or have undergone total knee arthroplasty. A systematic review was conducted on studies published between 1995 and 2018.
The published clinical practice guideline demonstrates where there is good evidence, where evidence is lacking, and the topics that future research must target in order to improve the management of patients undergoing TKA.
