The APTA Celebration of Diversity, one of the hallmark social events at APTA's Combined Sections Meeting in San Diego, is doing it up in the most San Diego-est way possible: aboard the U.S.S. Midway, one of the city's iconic attractions.

The popular celebration, sponsored this year by Cora Physical Therapy, Crōm Rehabilitation, HPSO, Net Health, and Upstream Rehabilitation, is set for Feb. 23, 7-10 p.m. Tickets are $60 each, available for purchase online during CSM registration, in the PT Fund booth in the APTA CSM exhibit hall, and at the event itself. All purchases support the Physical Therapy Fund, which powers APTA's Minority Scholarship Fund.

Some facets of the party will remain unchanged — specifically, the celebration's tradition as a great time for a great cause, with food, drink, and plenty of dancing. This time around, however, there will be a few big differences.

First, the location: Guests will board the U.S.S. Midway, the longest-serving aircraft carrier in the 20th century, where in addition to partying in a remarkable location, you'll be able to explore multiple exhibits and have access to the hanger and flight deck.

Second, the dress code: Leave the formal wear at home. This year it’s a casual event, so bust out that bomber jacket and slap on those aviators.

Can't make it to event? You can still make a donation to the PT Fund.
