National Physical Therapy Month is right around the corner, which means now's the perfect time to honor the profession by nominating an APTA member for national recognition through the APTA Honors & Awards program.

The APTA Honors & Awards program is now accepting nominations for the 2022 awards cycle, the annual effort aimed at celebrating members' outstanding achievements in the areas of education, practice and service, publications, research, humanitarian work, societal impact, and academic excellence, as well as outstanding physical therapist fellows, physical therapist residents, and physical therapist assistants.

The program also includes the Catherine Worthingham Fellows of APTA, the Mary McMillan Lecture Award, and the John H.P. Maley Lecture Award.

Detailed award descriptions, eligibility information, and nomination instructions for these and the many other awards and honors in the program are available on the APTA Honors & Awards webpage. Deadline for nominations is Dec. 1.

Award winners will be recognized at the 2022 Leadership Congress. For more information, email mailto:honorsandawards@apta.org.
