October is National Physical Therapy Month, and APTA is using the occasion to amplify an important message: Physical therapy has a role to play throughout every person's life.

During the month, APTA will spotlight the profession through the PT For Future Me consumer awareness campaign, which encourages people to think differently about physical therapy — not only as a path to recovery, but as a valuable resource for maintaining mobility, building resilience, and investing in long-term health.

Whether you're helping people return to the activities they love, prevent future injuries, manage chronic conditions, or stay active as they age, your work changes lives. This month is an opportunity to share those successes and help more people understand how physical therapy supports health and well-being at every age and stage of life.
