National Volunteer Week is April 21-27, and APTA is thankful for the hundreds of members who devote their time and skills to advancing the profession and the association.

This week creates a great opportunity to celebrate the impact of volunteerism, and obviously there's no better way to celebrate than by finding a volunteer activity that fulfills you.

APTA can help. The association's APTA Engage volunteer portal connects you with a range of association-related volunteer opportunities at the local, state, and national levels, and in a variety of capacities, from light-lift, short-term contributions to longer lasting projects.

The real bonus: Besides advancing physical therapy, members who volunteer for APTA opportunities meet other engaged PTs, PTAs, and students, and come away feeling better about their profession, their association, and themselves. But don't believe us — here's what a few members had to say about their experiences.
