This is dedicated to front-line health care workers who are answering the call to treat COVID-19 patients. Two years and multiple waves later, our communities are still relying on them to get them well — and they are still answering the call. 

The impact of COVID-19 on the health care system and health care workers is deeply personal. As a physical therapist who's been reassigned to several areas of pandemic response, I can say that the experience has changed me in ways I'm still trying to fully understand.
