Some 67 million people in the U.S. bowl at least once a year, according to the United States Bowling Congress, and over 1.2 million people are bowling regularly in leagues. There are also more than 3,000 members of the Professional Bowler's Tour, known as the PBA, and over 57,000 high school students participating in bowling club or school leagues.
