The Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education provides strategic advice, recommendations, and counsel to the APTA Board of Directors. Pursuant to association policy Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education Programs, the American Physical Therapy Association codifies that the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education is the one agency for accreditation of physical therapy education programs.
