In his address to the 2022 APTA House of Delegates, APTA President Roger Herr, PT, MPA, stressed the importance of foresight as a crucial component in pursuing the association's vision for the profession. Far from wishful thinking or cold calculation, this kind of foresight involves a combination of honest assessment, participation of diverse voices, and bravery around possible risk.
